This weekend Michael and I took Zoe to the Barkus Dog Parade in Shreveport. It is so fun to get away and do stuff together that has nothing to do with moving or the wedding! Everybody had their dogs decked out for Mardi Gras. I couldn't believe how over the top some people went!
Zoe was ready to go with an LSU dress, some purple and green bows, and some beads...
And we met up with her new "friend" Sadie when we got there.....
This guy just made me laugh....so I took a picture!
Michael is such a good sport! There are very few men in this world that would be willing to adopt a four pound princess who prances around in a pink and white sweater on a regular basis.
